MerchShops 1.0 happened at Bruno Press in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Musicians and designers worked together, under the guidance of local letterpress wizard, Mary Bruno, to create posters and CD covers.
What are Merchshops?
MerchShops is a workshop where musicians and artists come together to make a local brand.
For our pilot program launch, we worked with Bruno Press in St. Joseph, MN. Musicians, graphic designers, and fans came together to create posters and CD covers. We discussed Merchandise as a revenue stream, local branding through use of regional artists, and bonded with each other over the making process.
